We use a no-dig method of installation, pounding your galvanized steel posts to a desired depth of 4 feet deep, well below the frostline here in upstate New York. The best footer for any fence post is undisturbed earth, not concrete. Concrete can lead to frost heave which will lead to a leaning or falling over fence. By pounding your posts in the ground you’re guaranteeing the longevity of your fence.
